“The earth is art, the photographer is only the witness.” – Yann Arthus Bertrand
I’ll never forget the first day I picked up a camera. A young, fresh 16 year old with an eye for detail. It didn’t take long before I was down the park with my nephews or my dog taking as many fun and natural photos as I could. Something that has never changed. Even to this day, visiting some family members is like stepping into my own personal photographic gallery.
My name is Steve, I’m a professional portrait photographer. I specialise in natural portraits of children, families and dogs and absolutely love what I do. My photographic background goes back to when I first picked up a camera which eventually enticed me to study my photographic degree at Blackpool and the Fylde college, which at the time was one of the most prestigious courses in Europe. After graduation I spent many years working on my style and eventually settled into portrait photography.
Now, with over 17 years of photography under my belt, I keep my work as natural, relaxed and timeless as possible. I do everything I can to avoid modern fads and fashions in order that my work can stay on the wall for many many years, happily sitting alongside photos and pictures from generations past and generations to come.
In my spare time I like to keep active, training with a local karate club and getting on the bike whenever I can, usually ending up dirty when the weather isn’t so great!
Anyway, there’s a little about me. Why not give me a call and let me find out a little about you?
I look forward to hearing from you.
